Alloy Pittsburgh

Alloy Pittsburgh invited emerging artists from the Pittsburgh region to create temporary site-based artworks at the Carrie Furnaces. It was conceived and curated by Pittsburgh artists Sean Derry and Chris McGinnis. The opening reception was held on Saturday, September 28, 2013. An accompanying lecture series created a forum where artists and the general public could discuss issues related to Pittsburgh's changing post-industrial landscape.
