Mantle's documentary work often focuses on contemporary American life and the relationships between person and place. prints and booklets can also be found in permanent collections at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston Hirsch Library and The Houston Center for Photography's John Cleary Library.
